My main idea is to have a hefty sack who is hungry.
His Goal is to find food.
This is the story I used for my storyboards.
He rubs his belly and walks swervy and acts as he is going to faint.
Meanwhile passing objects a block and a seesaw which will be important later.
He looks left and looks right then He smells something. He follow his nose an runs into a pedestal. On the pedestal there is muffins. He tries to get them by jumping but he falls. He pounds on the pedestal out of dessperation and the he is sad and looks like he might give up, then remebers the block he passed earlier. He runs back tries to use the block. He takes the block and toss it on the seesaw to catapult him up on the pedestal.
He gets his muffin.

[Animation] final ideas
For the final we need to animate a sack. The sack needs to overcome an obstacle to achieve his goal.
Ideas
*Sack is dancing and Radio turns off, he shakes and kicks it to get it working again.
Sack tries to move something but it is heavy.
Sack tries to go through an obstacle course just kind of flomps around.
*Sack tries to find out what is in the box he is curious and box is scary to him gets it stuck on his head runs away.
Sack tries to steal something but is keeps moving as he tries to catch it.
*Sack is Hungry and has to reach the food but it is up really high uses things around him to achieve his goal.
***Edit***
Think about movement and elasticity. Cartoon Physics...
The sacks seem to flomp around and be bouncey and elastic.
The sacks have really cartoony motions...
(Check out youtube and example on class website)

INTERACTIVE MEDIA [portfolio site critiques]
Sites I like:
Acid Twist
I like this site because it is easy to use with the exception of the first page. It took a second to enter. The rest of the site is very straight forward. I like the way the thumbnails are displayed and the color of the website is not overbearing. So it doesn't take anything away from the works. I also like the large image display. I also like that the website is contained in one window.
Marge Casey
I like the site a lot. it is a very easy site to negotiate. The color scheme is simply and doesn't distract from the work. I also really like the way the navigation works that it can be divided by individual artist or types of photography. This website is also self contained in one window.
Sites I Dislike:
777run
This is probably one the worst portfolio sites I have seen. It has so many different pages, some that nearly do some flash tricks. It doesn't have any logical order that I can discern.

ANIMATION [first entry]
Two of these images are simply made of cubes. I think I want to do something with them. I will have to drop my panda seeing as this is non-objective. I will see what I can get from just messing with them. The other one I like, but mainly because of the black and white color scheme. I also might try fading in color and fading out. Other than that I need to just mess with the files and get some animating going. I guess I have to find the files first but they wouldn't be too hard to recreate. All for now...

Photo Study of Texture and Form...[digital modeling]
Both of these are inspired by nature and have elements of the nature but are far more abstract.
This pictures have some of the same elements. They are taking other things and creating something else.
These are all thumnails of photo taken of texture and form. All were shot in black and white. I did adjust contrast to help more abstract shapes evolve.

[Digital Imaging]>>Concepts...
For my next project I am to create 2-3 images with source material that I have photographed and scanned. The work is to be done in Photoshop. Cool, Cool...
My starting images are a photo of my fish and one of my sister. I want to explore mostly photomanipulation in one of the pictures. Maybe creating a world within a world or a forein world in which my fish or my sister is present.
This is an example and inspiration for one of the ideas I will explore. This definately has the Alice in Wonderland thing going on and while that is pretty cool it is pretty cliche.
The other thing I might try in scanning in object and images of my own and chaning the contrast and color to see what I end up with. I really like the nonsensical imagey that when placed together created a really pop image.
I might try doing this and make it mean something.
I also might just try straight up photomanipulation. Maybe make my sister a zombie...just kidding though it would be funny.
More Sketches to come...
